Homework!

Post by AngusB »

I know it's a bit nerdy but if this link works can anyone tell me if this picture is a thermic cloud judging by the base indentation?

http://www.nhpc.org.uk/nhpc/album_pic.php?pic_id=3688

I'm just trying to put to good use some of the info from Chris Scammel's XC course & hoped it might start a trend of people doing the same

I've got a very good book on weather and cloud formations lying on the shelf it's yours if you want it. PM your address and I'll post it off. I'd much rather someone got the use of it.

Cheers everyone for your input, at the moment I don't understand how you can work out how high the cloud is let alone know how windy it would be!
I've got a lot to learn.[/u]
