what you might not realise is that ths flight was declared so scored over 220km so was even more impressive. what is even more again ali took off went out back and decided to head back to take off and bombed out, leaving to have to run back to hill and then took off and flew the whole way by himself. and in the true ali style forgot his radio so no contact until about 6.30 when he was still flying answered his phone and all you could here was his vario. still the hero accept it was then a tw$t of a retrieve but at least I got to see stone henge

It was a personal best for me but quickly overshadowed by Gary's East Hill flight; awesome!.
we've got it tough in Northumberland weather wise but the craic and 'camawadery' is second to none,.... flying wing tip to wing tip with you lot is the number one priority.
