Groundhandling

Post by berow »

2 hours getting flung around Consett park was exciting, fun, educational, frightening, energetic, manic, maddening, messy and mental at times. Had a great afternoon but that is now 4 hours groundhandling this year. How much have you done?

haven't been counting the hours, but have been putting the ground handling in until the flu go me this week, last Friday(20) was a high wind leaning afternoon, with a couple of 20 meter slides been completed, it was good fun, would like to try and slide the complete field, little goals add a bit fun!

While we are on the subject of groundhandling I've been meaning to get the Zeta out for nearly a month now but the thought of damp weather and muddy fields has made me shudder. But finally today I decided to go to the cleanest part of the field I could find and must say the wind was very light but the Zeta shoots up like a rocket. Especially for a 21m2 wing ok small wings come up quick I just havnt seen it in such light wind. Wasn't really enough wind to play for long got the wing up half a dozen times but wing is still clean.

P.s nearly caught my micro lines caught in the teeth of the zip on my concertina bag and I nearly tried to zip it up, anyone else had this, be careful out there guys.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

Yes Colin. I frequently caught them in the zip on my harness. I now have to ensure the zips are not at the top or this might happen.
