Good afternoon Gary,

I wonder if you could do me a favour and and post something on your club email group.

Tony has gained vast amount of experience over the years he has been flying in Sailplanes, Hangliders, and now paragliders. I believe a lot of your club members will know him from his BPC days where he has at times done well. Being one of our best pilots in Scotland he has used this knowledge to succeed in many good distance flights, and any who meet him and have a chat go away with something new.

Wingbeat have organised another night with Tony and his chat on wave (originally done on a successful LLSC club night).

So this event is scheduled for 8pm Friday 13th February at the Gordon Arms, in the Yarrow valley (Just East of St Mary's Loch on A708, at cross roads between Innerleithen and Ettrick B709).

There are probably rooms also available at the Hotel and reduced for the event to £35 from £40 per person, I think couples will be £70 per night, resturant will be available for evening meals prior to talk, and of course the bar will be open to cater for the thirsty ones.

If there is any interest from your club members, could they contact Tommy Bryson or myself direct, so we can then pass on the expected numbers to the hotel.

One other thing to note we are probably going to charge a small entrance fee £2 to help cover Tony’s travelling expenses, I have mentioned this so no-one is surprised on the night.
