Good news for John Millers Sherpas

Post by brian day »

No longer will the phrase 'Jenkins looks best' send shivers of trepidation down the spines of John Millers Sherpas. The thought of those double carry ups a distant memory of the past.
A new solution,,,,drop John and his gear in the centre of Keswick!
Here he will be whisked to the heights via Latrigg and on to the summit of Skiddaw, where he can order his 'milky coffee' and sit in the revolving restaurant and marvel at the the paragliders that actually go up, before taking his own leap of faith trusting himself to the sky gods once again.
If the finger manages to find him again,,,,,no worries,,,,,down to Keswick to start the adventure again on Keswicks very own cable car.
Work starts in April so we could see the first trips by late summer, or more likely next year at British work speeds.
Not sure it will help when scratching on Jenkins though, but will Gordie be the first to barrel roll his speed wing around the cables?
See you out there!!!!!

Is this true or a wind up? It would make Jenkins a very popular place if it's true.
