Just had a look at the chart for the weekend and yes another howling crappy weekend in store. February only a few days away and it won't be long before those screaming 10 up spring thermals are pulling us skywards. We will all be rusty and short of airtime after this long lay off, God knows how Mr Freeman is doing with his school? it must be pretty dismal for him. I wish we could get a run of moderate easterlies so we can get some airtime in at the coast to sharpen the skills again, I never thought I would be pining for a day down at Hordon or Blackhall among all the burned out cars and shopping trollies but I am.
I just saw the Lakes Charity Classic on Facebook today and I'm defo going to that it's something to look forward to
Anyone got any good ideas apart from ground handling to sharpen those flying skills I mean the weather will surely get better soon???
I'm taking Kate down to London to see Billy Elliott in a couple of weeks time for her Birthday, I will bet my bottom dollar that will be the weekend the weather breaks......
Looking forward to seeing you all on the hill/cliff soon
JW
