Only thirteen days to go to what will be the best night out you will have this year
I hope everyone has been rummaging through there old crap oops I mean quality used item to bring along to the club auction
Flying gear, sporting goods, clothing, DVDs, CD' books. magazines, Christmas cakes or anything you can think of we take it all.
If your in the market for a bargain forget about Ebay and get yourself along to the corner house Wednesday 6th September you wont be disappointed bring plenty money
The Sick and Wrong have donated some women's cloth and Jocky Sanderson has Donated to copies of Security In Flight 2 it looks a very good informative DVD set. Aerofix expressed an interest in donating a repackage voucher but I haven't seen or received anything yet.
Do we display what's on offer for auction on the forum before the meeting? A little online window shopping could help prepare for best price bids?
I have a brand new still in the unopened box boefeng radio, an XL lazer helmet and maybe a tav-1000 vario (Brazilian model apparently popular with acro / comp pilots)
I'm on the look out for a more standard vario and anything else that takes my fancy on the night.
Is the auction typically more of a pu than other meetings? If so will leave my car at home.
Hi Graeme good idea the more promotion the better items are either donated to be sold for club funds or higher priced items can be sold on a commission basis the percentage commission decided by the seller.
as for a pu well that's up to you, personally I always enjoy a good gargle
Unfortunately I'm on nightshift but trying to get the night off...or at least cover from 6 til 11 so I can come along.
This is also a reminder that an emergency stand in Secretary might be required on the night.

Cheers Graeme, that'd be great but hopefully I'll be there. I'll email the blank minutes page for you to print out if you like or can drop one through your door if you PM me your address.
