The task was the best 3 turn points
And if all the results are in the results are as below.
In 3rd place Liam Howley (Well done Liam great effort)
In 2nd place Ron Donaldson (My Hero well done Ron)
But the winner by a country XC mile and flying so well this year
The one and only Gary Stenhouse ( Well done bonnie lad great effort)
Trophies to be awarded at the Christmas Meeting
Although the conditions were a bit on the windy side we actually got one of the best turn out of Para and Hang Gliders this year.
Cheers

well some great flying by all I would say, and it was great to have so many in the air and seeing the routes along to melmerby.
not everyone had such a great days flying,I and many others bombed out even though mad dog seemed to think he was the only one. though I was soon up and away again and spent the next 3 hours having some of the most enjoyable flying for years.
I think having lots of others all around cross fell made it so much more enjoyable, so lets hope we can rekindle the pure enjoyment of just flying.
also a extra well done to liam for some great flying on Saturday, enjoying cross fell at its best.
cheers gary

John
John, looking at the XC league does not tell you who was in the comp ?
You mentioned a good HG turn out so I thought there was a comp for them a well.
