why it pays to travel out to get flying

Post by gary stenhouse »

well today 6 of us were out in the happy van and we all came home happy with over 3 hours flying and my first FAI triangle of the year.

I kept on looking at rasp and it was saying that blease would be good even though met and bbc said not. it turned out to be light winds with good thermals yet there was good wind to take off really low and get up no problem. late on gave a special flight along to old man and then off to scales going along sharp edge and the scary bits at the back.

fantastic day had by all and worth the £7 pounds fuel to get us there and back.

cheers Gary
