getting caught up in strong winds

i must say some times being current does help in situations where the wind picks up and spacial awareness. if you are not happy with the conditions then far better being on the ground when there is a chance of sudden wind increases. however know your best plan of atack if it ever picks up is something well worth talking about on every debreif.

being current and happy with your glider can make a big differance but there is times no matter how good your glider is you still might not get forward, so go through your options with more experienced pilots before take off.
