lightweight or heavy weight

Post by gary stenhouse »

well i thought i would do a weigh in this morning with all i need to go flying with including .5 litre of water.
new impress lighness pod with mountain equip anaperna and varios radio etc 95kg
impress 2+ with above 102kg. though it does not sound much it feels nearer double the weight and double the size.

i have now been to jenkin twice in the last couple of weeks and found that the walk p is enjoyable as appose a chore. i must say it is very different flying with one of these lightweight pods , as there is no seat plate yet the comfort is much better than standard pod. down side very little protection so there is a price to pay.

i mst say i am reluctant to use any other harness now as the whole experience is better no worry on land out easier retrieve small kit, so here we go for a great xc year

cheers gary
