Blue skies, 3 up climbs, and a demo Sigma7, what more could you want?
It was a cracking day on Cleugh.
A group of sad Northumbrian Pilots turned up at the S&W before Steve was even out of bed...... but he got there eventually, and I blagged a demo Sigma from him, Kay a Mentor demo, and some cash also was exchanged by Chris L and Paul.
Of to Cleugh, with not a breath as we climbed up. But then it all came good.
Wind bang on, right strength, pull it up ( a little faster than an Epsilon, needs a good touch of brake to stop it overflying) and ORF.....!!!!
Cracking wing, cracking flying, half of NHPC there.
I flew till my hands froze. (must remeber my winter gloves next time...)
Others flew down the ridge, getting past Helvelyn.
I passed Kay, Paul and Wendy just outside of Grasmere, as I drove down to Kendal at the end of the day. I am sure they were on the way to the pub.,......!!

It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........
