semmerwater nhpc invation

Post by gary stenhouse »

well after some deep deliberation and fighting with my concions i ended up etting lost and ended up at semmerwater to see half the nhpc there.
some wonderfull flying with some magic lift all over at times. with the petit and grand tour de lac. nearly 3 hours flying but no sunshine but it did not seen too matter today with wendy showing the lads the way.

could this be the break in the weather we have all been waiting for?

will we ever get a nhpc club comp underway? well i think that sunday may just be possible and if it is i think we should grab it with both hand and go for it.

cheers gary

yes you could be right as you will see by my flights that all of that could of been done at east hill, if i was a good enough pilot.

mmmm.......

Well maybe but the great thing about somewhere like Semerwater is even a crap pilot like me can get some wonderful flying like you had. I've been up there in magic lift just like you had yesterday and been over the far side of the lake still going up and flown all over the valley and nearly up to the back of Wether Fell. Having said that it can be a bit hit and miss there and does get blown out very easily.
