Some nice flying to be had at Crimdon on Saturday, as I've said before lovely pleasant site with a good top landing. The four of us who flew had a couple of hours apiece, Steve Gill and Trevor Birkbeck got past Blackhall almost as far as Horden.
What puzzled me though was the number of hang gliders who turned up and didn't fly when it was obviously well flyable all day. Very strange.......

What's so strange about that?Dave Hume wrote:What puzzled me though was the number of hang gliders who turned up and didn't fly when it was obviously well flyable all day. Very strange.......
Everything in moderation, including moderation.
Okay eagle eyes, my second top landing wasn't great (didn't think anyone had noticed) but it was still a lot easier than any landing I've had at horrible Horden, and as they say any landing you walk away from (with an aircraft that can be used again) is a good landing.colinkeightley wrote:that good top landing nearly caught you out dave
Nothing wrong with good old horden
