Sunday...

Post by Dave Hume »

I take it no-one went out, but I have a feeling it might have been flyable at Cross Fell yesterday. The forecast big winds didn't arrive and Wendy at Wether was giving kind of acceptable south westerlies most of the day. Acceptable for hang gliders anyway.

I doubt it Dave...... Drove back from Manchester yesterday via Sedbergh / Kirby Stephen / Brough.

It was peeing down when we went past Tailbridge, and howling on the top of the moor just out of Brough..... the red danger flag that I aways use as an inmdicator of whether it will be flyable at Tailbridge was horizontal....

So all in all a day to be wrapped up warm in bed.
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........
