You know its windy when

Just seen a worried pigeon trying to get down.!!

Wings completely folded on full speed bar and going back at quite a pace, unable to push forward. Getting lift off the houses and with fear of getting blown out to sea.

You could see its anxiety, it was not happy and knew it had made a mistake, could swear I heard it shouting "MR Grimsdale!!!"

Lost sight of it as it was going backwards over the harbour desperatly looking for some rotor to work with.
