getting ready to soar

Post by gary stenhouse »

well ihave done the hard part now, and its now time to soar. there is so much still to learn but you can tell how much more skill is needed to fly a hanglider. having said that though there is much more feelling of control, as you fly it rather than been flown. the way you can speed up then convert to lift is just not possible on a pg. and as for land this is the great part, just pull in speed and there you are mack 10 skimming accross the ground then a nice level off and a flare dead easy. well sometimes but still great fun although i did dirty a nice new harness skimming.

another great day and learnt a lot, with hopefully as great weekend ahead

cheers gary

Totally agree with you Gary, hanggliding is so much better. Got to give you credit for your enthusiasm and hope to see you out and about. Soon you will be eating the miles and we will have to watch that leader board :)
