i have a choice to look at a job in edinburgh or go flying? things look a lot brighter this morning and southerley or even south easterley so i think that hownam could be worth a look at? if anyone is interested give e a buzz

The clouds in the Tyne Valley are SW The met spot winds are giving 220 10 knots at 2000 feet for the west.

Cross Fell today. Wind spot on and about 22 MPH perfect for hang gliding. Cloud base on the hill and got lower as we waited
Decided to have a look up the track that went up Melmerby Bowl and turned back just after the ford. That is one rough mother of a track.
