Ex chairman of Caley Club Andy Berzins flew from a little hill outside of
Pockington, And flew across the Humber estury (I beleve near the bridge crossing) from the north shore at 5ooo ft --Landing at spurn point."Ball's of Steel"
Has anyone heard of any Free Flyer doing such acrossing-is it a First !!
Well Done Andy.
Ron,
Spurn point is on the north bank of the Humber, which means he didn't cross it, but flew east. I used to sail to Spurn Point quite often from Grimsby on an International Canoe, if that counts as an aerial crossing, most of the trip would have been airborne!
