Honest I have not been praying to the weather gods for four months of wind and rain because I can not fly. When you can’t do some physically it does not bother me as I know there is nothing I can do. Mind a different story when I am working and I can’t get away, then I do pray to the gods with Mad Dog. It’s now been four weeks since the accident and the weather in the UK for flying has been short of shite. So far 3 competitions cancelled and the other with a 1 day small task. You must ask yourself did I have powers to change the weather or was it the van? There may be a way out buy the van and get a scaled model of me in the front of the van. Alternative to this is to dye your hair ginger, as this is where the real powers are.
Until my 'Butt Bash' party and then the 10 months of planning and preparation will all fall into place and the summer will start, look even the weather experts agree (from met check):
The variability of the UK's weather is what keeps a lot of us on our toes in the forecasting world. One week it's cool and wet, the next it's sunny and hot for example.
We all know that April was a record breaking month. It really was a fantastic month. Overall there was really only one way the weather could head and that was downhill. The last week to two weeks has been markedly more unsettled and cooler than we experienced throughout the whole of April.
However there are potential signs of a change and we always like to keep you informed here at Metcheck of any interesting developments!
Ensemble models are an excellent forecasting tool when looking for trends in the medium to long term. Over the last few days there has been a trend towards a signal for much warmer, if not hot weather during the final week of May.
This signal and trend is continuing to grow and there is now an increasing likelihood that much warmer conditions will arrive in 7 to 10 days. Obviously the details remain highly uncertain at this stage and there is still time for change.
However if this trend persists over the coming days, it would signal a very different last week of May than compared with the last few weeks.
Sun loungers on standby, the first significant heat of the year may be on the way!...
And at Buttermere we even have a beech for you to get your speedo's on!
p.s. There's snow forecast for the top of the fells today!!!!!!!!!!

Nah.... It's probably my fault for working at home this week. It's always cr@p when I work from home, and much better when I'm working away. Next week I was supposed to be in the Midlands, but it's been cancelled at the last minute.
just spoke with the nurse in Annecy and they offered a bag full of Ginger hair for the Model, apparently they keep it after shaving day at the hosptital. Thay also tell me that the nurse is called RAMON..and he enjoyed a lot doing his job on the strange Ginger been....
