Well I went to Millers Leap yesterday, and to my pleasant suprise it was actually flyable!
I drove over from Hexham at about 5:30. The wind was howling through the trees over Alston Moor, and I nearly turned back. However by the time I got to Hartside the wind was a nice steady 12mph there.
Millers leap itself was lighter..... 8mph to 12mph. The only problem being that the wind was well of to the south.
But still managed a couple of scratchy flights, and got my feet of the ground.
It is looking very similar today.... anyone fancy a trip out to Millers leap again?

Flying today.......
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........
