Soaring Microlight

Hiya folks

Ben Ashman has posted up some videos of his new microlight, a proper trike with real soaring capability, retractable undercarriage, and Bailey four stroke engine. It uses the Aeros Discus wing. This is the basic prototype, finished versions will have the front and back faired in. I want one.....

The CAA have recently deregulated single seat microlights, paving the way for machines such as this. This works like a paramotor or powered hang glider in that you don't need to get it permitted every year, but you do need a microlight licence.
