After a meeting with Alastair last night and much searching over different weather forecasts we regretfully had to make a decision to cancel this weekends competition. Such a pity when people have put in the ground work to make it happen. Once again thanks to Ron Don and Bob Sutherland for their help.

We spent ages searching the forecasts.... it took nearly 4 pints worth of time......much searching over different weather forecasts
A real shame, as I know Ron Don and Bob Sutherland have put a lot of time in with the local farmers, who it must be said seemed keen to have the comp!
And many thanks to John Wallis, who also put in a lot of time talking to pub landlords, organizing camping, and preparing tasks for the weekend.....
We may try and rearrange the round for mid July.
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........
