Milkhope Club BBQ Thoughts Please

Although this year was a good turnout it wasn't as popular as previous years so it would be a great help if you could take part in the anonymous poll and if you wish leave a comment

If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

Hi Colin as it was me that got the ball rolling with Milk Hope I'd like to put my own thoughts across.

We've used the farmhouse for 3 years now as a kind of end of season bash, well at least the last one was. It's been enjoyable and good fun for many of our members. It's not everyone's cup of tea and that's fair enough. I was concerned about the amount that was coming out of club funds to host the weekend every year so I was actually going to suggest at least a break for a while and maybe other members can come up with other suggestions for a club bash ??

Please remember Milk Hope can be used by NHPC members and their families for £150 and as many people as the place can handle. I'm certainly going to have a weekend with Clan Wallis at some point next year and it would be good if others think about doing the same. The NHPC are to be made friends of Milk Hope for our support over the last 3 years but they do need bookings to keep the place operational.

Thanks

JW

I dont understand the rational for change. Its a great venue, remote, reasonably priced etc. People dont come for whatever reason but I think its marvelous. What about a proper musician (s) as a way to improve attendance. A Ceilidh perhaps? Come on there is no need to change......in my opinion.

Ive been to the last 2 and had a great time. Hope it's on again next year.

Doesn't mean to say we can't have other club events and bashes.

I'm always well up for a beach party 😎 And a fixed date club event on east hill or something. The world is our oyster 😃
