Bognor birdman event this year was a bit windy and Kevin Smith flew his arse off !
We are waiting for the final results and Kevin may have won !

They hired a new film crew and the footage is spell binding !

Paul Fessi then kevin then me then Tony Hughes great weekend and great to be alive ! wow

just reading skywings and I see tony Hugh's managed 106m and got the £10,000.00 prize money I thought once that was won they would move the goal post?

not a bad days work though may have took him 20 years to get the one day pay

Tony worked his way up from the bottom served his time and has been flying hanggliders for 38 yrs so quite a lot of experience and a great competitor 8) he well deserved his Worthing Jackpot which took him 13 yrs of trying so definatley not a cosy weekends work..

I don't understand why so many ex hangglider pilots out there don't give it a go ? they don't have to be able to land without breaking there glider so whats stopping them :lol:

I thought once it had been won they would not insure it again, does tony still fly on a regular basis? lets hope they keep it going with the money or it will not be the same I guess
