Thank You Brian Rowe

Post by neil.m.hunter »

A few years ago a very good friend of mine ( Sean ) was paralized below the waste in a motor cycle accident. Over the last few months he has been asking me if there was any way that he could experience a flight on a paraglider. Today that dream was realised thanks to Brian Rowe. We went down to marske where conditions were almost perfect and following a tricky launch straight out of a wheelchair Brian and Sean had over an hour and a half soaring the dunes to Saltburn and back. Brian you are a true gentleman and a brilliant pilot and thanks for such a memorable Day.

I flew with a bloke in Portugal who was paralysed from the waist down. He had a streamlined lightweight bullet shaped tryke made to launch in and flew himself!! He just needed a hand taking off and the rest of the flight was his!! There are endless possibilities. What a great thing you did brian, maybe hell hear about this and possibly learn to fly too.
