some info for ratho talks etc

Folks, Bill Morris (BHPA) is going to give a couple of talks at the Ratho Repack, on Saturday, on reserve deployment and repacking. The first talk is scheduled for 09:30 in the Murray Lecture Theatre and the talk will be repeated at 12:45. If you are an inexperienced repacker or would benefit from a refresher it is probably worth making the effort to attend one of these talks.

Ratho are also going to set up hang points for a couple of harnesses in the packing room (Haston Suite) for those who wish to set up their harness or take the opportunity to try out other pilots harnesses.

And finally, following the AGM, Trias, one of the best XC pilots in the UK, who has recently been designing and building unmanned aircraft for civil, commercial and scientific use will give a talk entitled: “XC hound to investor stoker in 50 minutes" The talk has the abstract: The zero mistake zone and the parallels between flying and starting your own business. A look at the reserve to ground in 14 seconds, dodging ground at low level and shooting for the stars.
