Club auction

Post by Graeme Gilroy »

Great night last night hosted by the legend that is Bill Scott, who grafted his bollocks off as auctioneer, well played bill.
Thanks v much for the POM award it made my night
Went home donned my new thermals in the hope my good wife would want to polish my helmet but alas ''twas in vain ,next time fingers crossed
Great gesture from Neil who could not make it but pledged £160 for some semi naked shenanigans on the stage (ye had to be there ) great stuff photo to follow when I figure out how.
Not sure how much was raised but sure it was a health sum.
Great night

Twas a great night a classic auction made extra special by Bill and his patter he was brilliant. I mean who could sell old shirts calling them Saturday night fanny magnets :D

Then to top it all off we had the Full Monty on the stage with the majority of NHPC blokes getting their kit off! As Graeme said you had to be there. Neil get the cheque book out :).

I think there could be a classic NHPC Tee Shirt made from that photo I'll have 2 if someone can make them 8)

Some great donations which must have raised a healthy sum for the club coffers.

Well done one and all

So glad you all enjoyed it, when organizing an event like this its always a worry it wont be well attended ,but I had nowt to worry about it turned out to be a cracking night. but too me the thanks needs to go to you all who turned up donated stuff then put your hands in your pockets to buy it back and had a right good laugh doing it well done .
I'm slightly worried why Neil is so desperate to get a picture of all our arse's (mooning) (mooning) (mooning) but what the hell we live in a more tolerant society these days and if your that way inclined its nothing to be ashamed of.
OK then the final total with cash cheques and pledges if Ive worked it out right comes to a fantastic £728.00
Over the next month or so the club has some big expenses with the whiskey run ,presentation night and paying for the room so this money will help pay for these things and help keep the bank balance at a healthy amount and also means that raising money this way we can keep the annual subs a a reasonable price .
so once again big big thanks to all who took part (clap) (clap) (clap) (clap) (clap)
Cheers
