Had the chance to meet this amazing man at the reception of the 2010 birdman in Bognor Regies, I never knew he had met Wilbur Wright, Neil Armstrong & Yuri Gagarin !
He had a great sence of humour and we talked about the 100m flight distance and when will be done, he kept a close eye on the event and was amazed at the hanggliders performance in all kinds of weather.

Patron of the International Bognor birdman trust
Hi Trevor, I forgot to mention Patrick was a 'Patron' of the International Bognor birdman trust and himself & George Able started the Birdman event back in 1971 in Selsey.
The Birdman event has now rasied well over the £650,000 mark for chosen charites !
