Trophies/Competitions

Just an idea but there is no way everyone is going to agree about the trophies,

Ive been saying for a while now that some of the trophies need looking at as some of the trophies are nearly duplicated.

So i propose that we get a group together to bash out some iron clad rules for the trophies.

Doesnt have to be comittee members but it would be good to have differing opinions.

We could meet up on a different day just down the pub when its convienient and thrash out ideas and finally make a decision.

When we try to make these sorts of decisions at the meetings it just turns to chaos.

What yall think

sounds like a plan though i think that given the amount of folk that are after xc miles then probably not worth the bother.

however just think of what it will be like if you win only fly xfell as after all we have had 2 flights over 30k and thats just a start.

lets just have a chat about things on wednesday and see if it is worth moving things forward.

a trophies and competitions sub comitee hmm ? good idea but i would forget about democracy make it a dictatorship its the only way you will get owt done amd if anyone doesnt agree you could have them shot

the idea is those who have a strong opinion i would imagine would be on the panel otherwise what are they winging about if they are happy to sit back and let someone else decide. Or do they only moan when the decision doesnt go their way

Or have them banned to the Dales or North Yorks and don't let them fly our sites,,,,,,,,black list them,,,,,,,shoot them down,,,,,,,cut their strings,,,,,,,burn them at the club BBQ.

Colin, I'm sure you'll get a million volunteers for the job and only one person moaning afterwards.
