The original plan was to finish the XC league at the end of October so that everything could be calculated, sorted and engraved for the prize giving at the December meeting.
So Chris was correct the final day for the leagues for this year is Friday 31st October.
New leagues, winter and summer start 1st Jan.
I get the feeling this will start things off again!!!
Maybe we should move this to the 'Private section' now before it all starts again!!

Hunted everywhere on the forum for the old minutes and couldn't find them.
Just as I switched off the computer I realised I still have all my original notes. Sure enough Jan 08 meeting!
Summer comp to be 'Open Distance' from Jan to the end of,,,,,,,errr oooops, November
Doesn't give long to sort things out, but it's there in my own fair scribble, (I could say anything because my writing is barely legible at the best of times).
So, no panic Chris, you've got another month to go, all you've got to do is get airborne in these winds and you'll have yourself a record!
Friday is looking a tad breezy at the moment though!

You had me wondering there Brian. Below from the minutes you sent me.
A change was proposed for the format of the club league.
New format;
Winter Comp; Jan 1st - March 31st to be scored on OLC points
Summer Comp; Jan 1st – November 30th to be scored on Open Distance Km
This will give pilots the ability to check their progress on the online league
The change was voted on; Majority for, Against Nil
Motion carried, although there was some concern showed by Ronnie Freeman.

Brian, October was never mentioned it has always been November 30th because I brought this up at the January meeting that it would only give me couple of days to sort all the trophies out and get them engraved but nobody listened...
