Anyone flying from Blackhall should watch where they are walking for the next few weeks. Following the recent heavy rain a main sewer appears to have burst and spewed what looks (and smells) like raw sewage in a number of places.
There is a large area to be careful off close to the path from the allotments to the cliff edge, just as it meets the coastal path (NZ461400), and another on the beach at the bottom of Blue House Gill (NZ466397). (Next bay to the south).
I'm off to disinfect my boots.......
