just kooking on the nat xc league and there you have it dave thompson flew for over 2 hours wwith a flight of 7k so makes you wonder wether it might be flyable there tommorow>

how on a day that lloks non flyable there always seems to be a window somewhere.
so lets see what tommorow brings and you never know there may just be the silver lining at the end of the rainbow.

Post by Kitt Rudd »

Maybe it it because he did not down load his Friday Flight ttill the next day and did not notice that the system double guesses. I know for a fact he was there on Friday.

It was friday Dave was flying and very nice it was too. Clough looked beter though with 5000+ from Kitt. We had a great time on Broughton with about 12 pilots out. Top cloud cover kept the thermals down and we lost everything at 2800 well before CB. After giving up on goal flights it was some of the most interesting flying I've had on broughton with lots of us exploring new parts of the ridge with some exciting transitions back into the hammerheads behind Trahenna. Saturday it was pishing down but the mountain biking at Glentress was great!
