LCC Help

I've got a load of equipment that needs to get to the LCC for the evening bash. If anyone is going across with space in their car could you lend a hand please?

It seems all that everyone can do is take the piss and criticise,
Sad old life isn't it?
Don't worry Gordie, I'm looking at hiring a camper van for the weekend which will partly solve the problem. We will manage somehow, we will not let you down.

I could still do with a hand, if anyone is willing, there's small stuff as well as larger stuff, nothing bigger than a paraglider pack though.
Come on folks, it's for you, not for me. A little help will be most appreciated, it's all going to charity and for a very good cause.

I think you need to be more specific about whats being transported Brian.

I'll be going over on thursday if thats any good but i'm not sure how much space I'll have as I might be taking the paramotor. It all depends on the weather forcast nearer the time

If your refering to anything relating to a bands equipment then I would not personaly have my gear going out in drips and drabs to get bashed, lost or droped. There are very reasonable van hire available at very cheep prices.

If on the other hand your on about a few borangs, digery doos, wobble boards, triangles, shakers, tambourines and general bangy things for drunks to play with. Best left at home, in the wrong hands people could get hurt, have you seen a grown man tring to prize a triangle from his arse??

Hi Brian. Just seen your post. I am going over in the van on Thursday night and am happy to take some stuff over. Paul is getting the train to Carlisle on Friday night then cycling...Maybe we should load him up too

Errrr,,, No,,,,never seen that done before! Did he swallow it???

After the initial response Steve, I am waiting to get a quote for a large camper van, why hire a van, when I can go in comfort! I didn't want to give to much away about the content as every budding Mark Knoffler would be after taking the gear just to have a go.

Thanks for all the offers, I'm hoping I'll know about the van later tonight, if it's a no, then I'll be giving you all a ring.

Like I say, I didnt like people messing with my gear who were not in the inner-sanctum nor did the rest of the band. Woe betides anyone who even dared to look at it.

Things seem to have taken a bit of a change

Apparently they are earning their crust in Newcastle on Friday night. (busking under the arches probably) So they won't be going across until Saturday. They may be contacting you John!
However, things can change rapidly, a bit like the weather! I'll keep in touch.
