the window of oportunity could be here

Post by gary stenhouse »

well the forecast has been set for the week and friday could be our first chance? and if its at all flyable i will be there to make the most of it wether it be hg or pg after all you got to take what you can get. so far this year it has been so disapointing and i am starting to wonder when the break is going to come. though i am truely sorry for john having to go and have a double hernia op on tuesday but to curse the weather is plain selfish! mind you i have been tied up myself for the last 2 weekends so i have been kind of relieved by the weather as it has ment i have enjoyed myself without reservation.

will we ever get the elusive northerlys to see horden skip into action to allow me to become the master of my new ship or even model to show of my new skills of breaken uprights. the the latter is the past and will not be seen again, well lets hope not as things are tough. the i have broke a few uprights the have not been as a result of a massive error just a second out either way and not letting go when you know you have missed the window.

the rewards will come to light in the coming months i am sure though i am sure there will be a lot of learning in the process.

Sorry lads I've had to extend the Hex until the end of March when I should be in some kind of state to lift the hang glider, so I guess the winter XC league may be won by a certain pilot doing top to bottoms. The low coming through tonight may be a little intense so I apologise for that but I've requested the winds drop towards the end of March to at least hang gliding strengths  As for paragliding it could be as long as May before things calm down.

After your devil worship to stop us flying while you are on 'business trips' I've been on the phone to my mate Thor and ordered up some rain for Friday
See you out there!!!!!

probably cant do friday but i hear the weekend could be a northerly air flow so who knows big xc at model or wetherfell but who knows a week in the life of a converted knitter and book reader as flying is only something you dream of. on the good news i will now have my uprights the vb is fixed and siliconed and runing smoothly, so i am ready and focused as all we can do is show joh what he is missing while he is all trussed up. and to top it off i have to look at a job in keswick, though i did say i would have to wait untill the weather was right to check the job out
