A Taster !

Well guys inspired a little by Dave Humes post on ''Stories'' as you know Paul and I Anto Jan & Chris visited Nepal for some Paragliding over Christmas & NewYear.
Well Paragliding was our reason to go...But Nepal is So So much more.

One of the friends we made en route was' Pete with the Dicky Tummy' (AKA poor Pete got the Shits big time !)..Anyway he has emailed us to give us a sampler of a video he is making of the trip.
The Big Bird you see is the worlds second largest to the Andean Condor. Known as a 'Lamighear' or Bone eating eagle he would come and meet us at our camp on a cliff each morning. Catching the early thermals, looking for a few bones and checking out his new neighbours. He was MAGNIFICANT...
The clip of Pete and a couple of other pilots was the day before we met..actually we flew together over an area know as the Green Wall but did not know our paths were due to cross. Anyway, the day you see them in camp they had hiked up to the Base of 'Fish Tale' the big matterhourn shaped mountain in the back drop of the video. They all took off for an extended fly down apart from one of their group. A czech guy with very obviously what must be HUGE Gonads. Anyway. He flew back to Fish Tale, connected with some very strong lift and went to 6500metres !!!!!!!!!!!.He was pleased to eventually penetrate and join his compadres on their glide.

I am sure Jan Chris . Anto Paul & I would be happy toshow a few photos and tell a few tales if anyone was interested..Its hard to know if your blowing own trumpet & Boring the pants off your mates !
