Simon says it's a voucher for the shop, I'll check with him when he gets there. I'm sure he will manage to do some sort of deal for 'friends' anyway.

Unfortunately you are right Alistair, only half a story again. But I'm sure Simon will throw in a boot bag or some other goodies like that to anyone who is interested, just mention paragliding to him.
Make sure you get the cracking sound of the new ski, it only happens once, the first time they are flexed.

Seems like it paid off, Simon took £21000 in the ski dept yesterday,,,,,,yes that is twenty-one thousand pounds on skis and boots alone!
I should be in for a good xmas present when he gets his commission on that little lot, and with the rain and snow today he's looking forward to another bumper day!
The snow in the Alps is really good. Record low temps over the last month have formed a good base, and snow last week has opened a lot of resorts,,,,,get down to Easy Jet!

Anything with any life will go to the new snow dome in Manchester for hire skis. (Si was at the opening the other week, has some great photos, enjoyed the skiing and was offered a job down there, he reckons he may go after this season, before he starts the 'endless summer surf trip') Dead and old skis will be used for training new ski technicians and then dumped. Most of a ski is recyclable.
