Whilst most of you were lying in your beds, enjoying your extra hard earned hours kip, John Wallis and myself decided that today was the day for the big cross country flight......
And as it turned out we were right, despite initial reservations about the weather......
We got to base just north of Talkin Tarn, and then tracked East, passing just North of Hexham, and onto the mast at Stamfordham.
Unfortunatley I didnt have my GPS with me, so I cant post the flight log, but John assures me he has taken pictures... I was a bit busy to take any....
Viz was brilliant..... at base over Hexham you could see all the way to the coast!
