MENTAL MENTAL MENTAL (lek?)
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
Just pee on it and walk away.

Strange thing to say!!

Where do you hear that the pubic think we are all a bunch of nutters?

Just how should one behave when presented with such a notion!

Should I be phoning for the men in white coats now to take me away?.... "here I am!!!.......come and get me.... you best strap me down... I am one of the loons you have been looking for!"

most people do think we are slightly mad, after all why would anyone want to fly with a few strings and a piece of ripstop? but the link between a lot of paraglider pilots and extreme sports is not there. lets be honest
i think it is not a bad thing formost people to be afrais of flying as in all the years of doing other near extreme sports this has felt the least but yet is the most dangerous. so my point if you are going to fly you should be prepared for what can happen.

Dangerous sport ?

Every accident or incident that I've seen or heard of has bee down to pilot error... I personally feel that more patience, staying current and better understanding of the weather & airflow would dramaticaly drop the incident figures.
