Let's make it a date then.we would need to get in touch and try and encourage our gang to attend. A chance to camp, drink, eat and have fun. The Cheviots will only be a short drive away.

I received a reply about our attendance. No problem so sign up online and let them know who is coming. Thing is I think we need a gazebo and table for this so can any members help. Literature....I have some calendars :D . Could we have a frame to suspend a harness to allow people to sit in a harness, just a thought. We would need some literature from Ron Freeman as we will point them all in his direction. Display of paragliders and hangliders?
What do you think?

the bhpa have some nice glossy leaflets they will send out for free
but I think the biggest problem will be getting members to attend as previously mentioned I have tried to get a club presence here a few times now and haven't been able to get more than three or four there

I will be there. It would be a good thing to ask CAN for. I will price up some stuff for a display stand to use this year. If you guys have any more suggestions of shows to make a presence at this year let us know, would be good to get someone there with a hangglider

After hearing Bill mention this i think Gordon and me went last year?

Some interesting people and aircraft. Nice sunny day but it was a bit quiet though?

I'd be up for popping along if it's a nice day.. It's just next to the beach - with dunes!

Druridge bay, near Hadston. This is just an annual fly into a field, with gazebo and burgers, tea and coffee.
GNF is the full blown thing with beer, food, rock band, more beer, camping, classic cars exibits etc etc.

If we put a stand together we would need at least 3 people to run it, more would be better. I would obviously be willing, do we have any more volunteers. Brian Rowe what sort of things does your son print, should we get some merchandise to sell stickers, mugs that sort of thing pencils rubbers stuff kids like and I don't just mean for eshott we could use it for other shows

Sorry Colin my son folded his business.My thoughts are as follows;
A TV screen showing flying videos....is that possible?
A frame to hold suspend a harness and let people sit in it....is that possible?
Weather permitting a hang glider and paraglider rig on display.

Sorry to hear that Brian

My van can power a led TVs for about 50hrs of the battery and use generator as backup.

Was maybe thinking we could see if mad dog could fabricate something for the harness. Something that can be packed away.

the easiest and cheapest way to get a harness stand is a childs swing as perfect size and height and generally come in bits

I should be there all weekend so could help out anytime. I could make a frame for hanging a harness on. I will have some paramotor friends there too, so we could get a paramotor there.
