I tried uploading a photo the other day (about spring thermals) and failed miserably - isn't there an easier way than uploading them online before we can re up load them onto this site?
Will there be a few more loose house rules for the Nhpc calendar photo comp?
nhpc sites only - but what about snaps from the lakes, dales or other sites eg (lcc Classic)? that include nhpc members - or flying holidays abroad?
Historically these types of competition don't get a lot of entries so to fill the calendar I would leave the constraints pretty loose as in paragliding related. And photos are usually voted for by the club as a whole. Where are you trying to upload to? Are you using the link next to the forum link above?

enter as many time as you like ideally it should be nhpc sites but not compulsory any good photos that show off our sport would do
you can enter any photo for the competition just thought it would be good to showcase nhpc sites on the calender
The way it was done in the past entries had to be hard copies brought along to the meetings then all laid out on a table and voted on with raffle tickets
now that we have the benefit of the web site would be daft not to use it I would still like to get prints laid out on a table for judging but thats a good few months away so will sort that out nearrer the time
lets just see what we get in the way of entries first
It looks like not many know where to/how to upload so if you need advice I don't mind helping...I'm sure some of the other moderately techy members of the club will too
We definitely want a wide variety of choices when it comes to picking the best for the calendar so please be forthcoming with your hidden gems!
Also, at the bottom of each picture is a rating button where you can rate how good the picture is which should help Bill & the rest of the judges in choosing which are the best of the best

Also if you have not taken the photo yourself (personally), you must give the photographer full credit and have their permission otherwise it cannot be printed in the calender, any successful photos that fall into this category would need this proof.
