Harness simulator

Post by Graeme »

My harness seems to have 'self adjusted' itself and yesterday I really struggled to sit back easily just after launch, so much that by the time iD got myself sorted I was out the lift zone and bombed out (twice)

Does anyone have or know where there's a simulator contraption type thing I could hire, borrow or try?

I just use the kids swing with a couple of bits of rope. Or a pole or peice of wood across the loft hatch with rope dangling
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

You're welcome to use my pull-up bar if you want to bring it round after 5pm Tuesday night.

Cheers Angus, much appreciated! I'll set something up at home soon but will give you a bell later to have a quick look at it on your pull up bar.

Set up

Hi Graeme Colins tip with the loft hatch is a great one ! works well & very simple to do.

If your ever in that situation again just hang out of the harness and set yourself up first by staying in the lift band & gaining bit of height then sort yourself out.. I've been there and got the ticket ! nothing more frustrating.

Cheers chaps, I set one up in my living room doorway using my long lost inversion bar - with bungees for break lines :)

The bungees feel like the real thing.
