Delighted to hear you are going Graeme, you will love it. Sorry I can not help on the other inquires. Traveling down thru France by train lovley. To see light aircraft going in the same direction as your self---going backwards with the train traveling so fast !!!

Train fares

Cheers Ron, I originally looked at fares about 4 weeks ago to get a ball park figure , at the time it came back with cheaply fares in the depths of winter, I've just looked at June-July fares and they are way higher, in the region of £300 return , the euro stars fare soaks up about 2/3 of that amount.
Sorry if I misled anyone into thinking it was a viable option. Looks like I will be on my own at those fares ! As I only pay a reduced rate on Eurostar and the rest for free, however my offer still stands
