well what a great day, however it was not quite we expected as it was wsw so not a problem at hownam.

we had all had a good hour or more and were landed having a chat and chill and at 3.40 we took back of and me mad dog fozz and Lloyd climbed out with a very nice cross country.

chris stealing the day landing other side of longknowe after taken the brave route, as me and ace miller top of the stack for most of the flight got to steriff then john got good climb me a week one and ended up a few k behind.

thanks to brian for retrieving us and great to see Wallace and maltby up there enjoying the most perfect day.

Good flying today in the Lakes from Blease Fell, some nice triangles done
Strong thermals and 5000 ft base An unexpectedly good bank holiday
Ali squeezing in a nice flight and landing in front of the kids at the lakeside after completing a nice triangle 8)
Feel the fear and do it anyway!
