Out walking and came across this lovely Church. There in the churchyard was this head-stone (On Photograph) . This was the chap who
gave us permission to fly Old Bewick.
Mr Wrangham, it says he was the Father of Keilder Water? I understand
the Family have lived here since the 1600 Hundreds.

Everyone who lives dies, yet not everyone who dies, has lived. We take these risks not to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping us ...

Teddy Wrangham
Hi Ron, I met Teddy back in 1978 at Harehope hall, Berwick. His butler came to the door and escorted us to the lounge for evening tea with a wee drop for afters...
A real character and an all round sportsman including a big game hunter in South africa ! I played Squash with him at Alnwick squash club and he always got the score wrong... he wore huge khaki shorts and you would think he's just come out of the jungle !
His grandson, Hugh Wrangham is learning to paraglide and nearly through his EP and will be a very good pilot.
