yes probably the best 1-2 on the market and nice and easy to fly, john miller has the medium so worth getting a go sometime. for john he has rarely complained about the glider so that is pretty impressive as normally he has nothing but complaints.

Thanks for that Gary. The dog carries a bit of weight and he flies a medium? I'll have to give it a go, is it still safe or has he dragged it across all the rocks in northumberland

Bye the way what oil did you say I had to put on my floor.

Cheers

castrol gtx or fully sinthatic will do the job :D :D

i will sort you some oil out that is best suited cheers gary

also johns glider is still safe only sheep poo and a few twiggs, he still has the sport 3 as well 90-110

however the mentor flies very well at top of weight range 80-100 for the small depends on your harness

cheers Gary

Is that an Imp3 harness John? There's lots of light weight stuff now that could get you on a smaller glider. Everyone raves about the Mentor 2, there were a few videos about that showed it getting a cravat in a spiral dive, but I haven't heard anything in a while about it. Mate of your's has got a sigma 8 for sale, probably part with the full kit if you speak with a fist full of money! :D
Be good to see you back.

John,

I got one recently, due to being too fat for my old wing, and I love it. Stress free flying and great performance. I fly a large at 122kg all up. Did my PB on my first flight on it. :) Wasn't shamed against the hot ships at the Nationals, kept up with a small Mantra M4 on long glide.

105 all up is perfect room to put on weight and room to loose weight, the sink rate is very good even on the top of the weight so no problems and glide is better

so what wing have you been getting ron? you have not been getting a R10

cheers gary :D

Good choice John, I know for a fact that mad dog employed professional packers from the far eastern manufacturer each time the wing was folded, it was then taken and carefully stored in a climate controlled room at Miller Mansion and the take off area was carpeted before each take off.
But---I have a basic Davron vario (2 altimeters and a wiggley pointer thing) you are more than welcome to cadge, works well and will be able to tell you how far below the take off at East Hill you are scratching

or maybe the penny has dropped that the rewards are not worth the risk flying 'EnD's or comp wings

you might be right ron or its taken a long time to find a glider that does everything so well that has light breaks light speedbar feals the air without being over the top. safe and had a fantastic sink rate and glide and all on a C, mind the R11 was probably the best glider i have ever flown and if this ever comes to the market in a safe D then ma be tempted again.

still some folk have to try everything first before they can make a decision and unfortunately that is me,

so what is the new wing?

cheers gary

You want butt clenching go fly an EN A when it's breezy! :(

Horses for courses ..... I'll stick to the END's and comp wings ..... so much safer and more solid ...... until the sh1t hits the fan.

Yes, it's wet I'm bored and feeling provocative .....

Sport 3 ...... dodgy John; I admire your balls (not literally).

John .... you still need a reserve? I have a Mayday 18PDA ..... recent repack (up to 130kg I think). You can have ...... no charge as it's you.

I have some brown dress shoes size 9, might need a resole and an old suit jacket that the pants got ripped. There might be an old tank top in the bottom of the wardrobe also.

Your very welcome to them John.
