Hi All,
Haven't been around here for ages but was wondering if any of you guys can help.
I'm off to Annecy this summer as part of a Euro Tour and have left it too late to book a camp site.
Didn't want to plan too far ahead - !!
Does anyone have experience of arriving in the area with nothing booked. Are there any smaller sites that maybe aren't on the www searches.
Cheers
Dave

An other lovely campsite ..which I've forgotten the name of is the one just behind Urwins place Maison d'Moulin on the D909A Route Simon de Verthier just over the road from Doussard. It is a lovely little Camp Site run by an Old French Couple. Very popular with fliers..even has its own landing field, and just a short walk to the Navette from Doussard Landing field to take you up the hill
30m Breaststroke

I'm not sure if we've met either Dave, I have been to the last two LCC's.
I'm there with my family, have never flown there before so I'm unsure as to what to expect. I've heard the Alps are scary, let's hope not.
I will be going on an adventure or two tho.
Theres some info here

The thermal map looks useful, we could do with one for East Hill perhaps?
My number is 07930 tree tree 7 for tree 6.

Everyone who lives dies, yet not everyone who dies, has lived. We take these risks not to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping us ...
Cheers all.
Yeah Jim, the flying sounds amazing though I have a mate up here in Scotland who hates the place - purely because of the hectic take-offs and ignorant skygods!! (He has over 4000hrs in !!!!)
Might be just too busy in all the regular places. He's suggested heading to a few quieter sites.
