Skiing at Xscape

Post by Jim Bittlestone »

Xscape near Leeds, (Castleford) are doing some canny offers for skiing/ snowboardiing during September.
£10 for an hour between 1000 and 1100 on weekdays (get there early to get skis/ changed etc)
or for those who can take the pace...
£22 for 2 hours between 1000 and 1200 on weekdays.
Over 50's qualify for the "more mature" session and for the same price get a free coffee!!!
You can even get 3 hours if you can stand the boredom of the same run for that long for £28.
Note that this is weekdays only and you must be able to ski / board already. Lessons are £15 per hour.
Heather and I will be popping down soon if anyone fancies a look out?
Cheers
Jim

There's loads to do at Xscape. Loads of shops selling outdoor and ski wear, a climbing wall, pubs and restaurants and a big outlet village next door. Oh and a big Evans cycles shop.

Just watch out at the moment as they are roadworks at the roundabout off the motorway and approach to Xscape. The signs are crap and its easy to end up going to Castleford instead of Xscape. Having been to Castleford once I would try not to do it again. Old Sat Navs get confused by the new sections of motorway from the A1/M62. Loads of free parking at Xscape aswell.

Oh and if your kids like tipper trucks try ........ Diggerland is about 5 minuts away.
You are only as good as your last flight........
