Shipping wings overseas

Post by GlennP »

I m been getting some daft prices from Parcelforce for shipping a wing over to Europe ( within the EU ) ie £125 for an 8kg package in a bow big enough for the wing.

This seems ridiculous.

Anyone on the forum had experience of shipping wings abroad? The size of the box seems to be the main issue.

Cheers,

Glenn

Seems pretty steep....but you do need to spend ages compressing the glider down as small a possible. You should be able to get it down to approx £80 with parcel force. We could possibly ship it for around £50 with Fedex but we'd need to know some more details before we could be sure.
