The farmers and land owners would like to thank all the members for their Christmas gifts and have agreed we can carry on with the same rules or restrictions where appropriate.
Most are happy to see us on the hills, two asked why we haven't been but nobody had any complaints. :)

I am still trying to get a definite answer on the Hogden Law status but it does not look hopeful. The blend of shooting parties and the re-generation of heather on the hill being the cause for concern by Lord James and Northumberland estates.

Coldsmouth Hill and Longknowe are in between ownership and is currently being managed (At this point) by Sale and Partners of Wooler. Getting somebody with the authority to say yeah or nay is the problem at the moment. I am working on it. In the meantime i suggest we carry on as we have been for 20 years or whatever and if we are approached plead ignorant and try and use this in our defence until i get a result, hopefully this week.

Mr Wrangham passed away last year and the gamekeeper Richard Smailes is more than happy for us to fly but reminded me about the shooting on Fridays. If you want to fly here on a Friday you need to contact Richard first. Number on the site guide.
